On Thursday July 30th, there was an ebike crash doing damage of an estimated $20,000 worth of inventory. A dodge Dakota truck was seen hopping the curb and barreling through an e-bike display at Eas-E-Riders. The driver was found unconscious and was taken by the ambulance to the hospital. This happened at the Leduc plaza, and as you can see almost as a before and after photo this is how the ebike crash went down:
Witnesses said that it seemed as though the driver was already unconscious before he went into the light pole as he didn’t seem to slow down at all as he was barreling through the mobility scooters and ebikes. Remember to drive safe guys, and we wish the people at Eas-E-riders the best in recovering all the broken merchandise.
