I had the pleasure of taking one out and giving it a test run, and the results were impressive. The speed that I was travelling at was incredibly surprising as I would have imagined it would be a lot slower than it was, but I was able to past cyclists!

The storage space was the best part of it, as I was able to take more over 50 pounds worth of stuff on the bike and it was almost as if I had nothing with me.

Because the electric adult tricycle is a pedalec, you have to pedal a bit first before the engine kicks in, so you should change gears to a lower gear when you come to a stop. I found if you came to a stop on the hardest gear, although it is a breeze to pedal once the pedal assist is going, it is hard to start it to get going. It comes in three different colours, green orange and silver and has adjustable seat so you can set it as high or low as needed.

Assembly of the adult tricycle could take a bit of time and a little bit of know-how, so we created a video showing step by step instructions so that you can put it together without problems.

On Thursday July 30th, there was an ebike crash doing damage of an estimated $20,000 worth of inventory. A dodge Dakota truck was seen hopping the curb and barreling through an e-bike display at Eas-E-Riders. The driver was found unconscious and was taken by the ambulance to the hospital. This happened at the Leduc plaza, and as you can see almost as a before and after photo this is how the ebike crash went down:

Witnesses said that it seemed as though the driver was already unconscious before he went into the light pole as he didn’t seem to slow down at all as he was barreling through the mobility scooters and ebikes. Remember to drive safe guys, and we wish the people at Eas-E-riders the best in recovering all the broken merchandise.
